TAMPA - The University of South Florida police are investigating a rape said to have taken place at a campus dormitory.

The rape is the second sexual attack reported at USF within the last few weeks, and the fourth in the last five months.

The victim, a female student was attacked in Holly G Residence Hall, Sunday morning.

The attack wasn’t reported until Monday night.

Officials say the victim and the suspect knew each other.

Another sexual attack at the campus was reported by a male victim on Jan. 18.

He told officials he was raped by another man in a unisex bathroom at the Marshall Student Center.

Two other rapes were reported in September and October of 2012. ( http://bit.ly/VUOgga )
