TAMPA - If your closets and garage are overflowing with stuff your kids have out grown or just don't want anymore, you can turn that stuff into cash.

In March there is a big children's consignment event at the Florida State Fairgrounds and there is still time for you to sign up to consign your unwanted stuff.

Two local moms, Christina Ruhlig and Lisa Green are organizing the Just Between Friends Children's Consignment Event which will be held March 8-10.

You price and tag your own items using an easy online bar code system.  You can earn 60 percent of the sales and 70 percent if you volunteer at the event.

The types of items they are looking for are "gently used" children's and teen clothing, name brand maternity wear, toys, outside playground equipment, baby and nursery items, books, videos, and many more unique children's items.

If you don't have anything to consign, it's certainly a great event to shop at because you can save between 50-90% off retail.

Date:     Friday, March 8 - 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
               Saturday, March 9 - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
               Sunday, March 10 - 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. ( Half Price Day!)
Place:    Florida State Fairgrounds Special Event Center

Admission: $2 Friday only
