MIAMI - Tropical Storm Isaac now has sustained winds of 60 mph. Computer models show a slight shift back to the east keeping the Tampa Bay area within the cone of uncertainty.

At 2 p.m., Isaac was located about 135 miles southeast of Port Au Prince, Haiti, which is under a Hurricane Watch.

Isaac is moving to the northwest at about 14 mph.  Maximum sustained winds are 60 mph, with higher gusts.

Watches will likely be issued for the Florida Keys later today.  Additional watches may be issued for the southern Florida peninsula.

Current computer models project a slightly eastward shift with regard to the Tampa Bay area. Isaac will cross the eastern tip of Cuba Sunday morning.  By 8 a.m. Tuesday, Isaac is projected to be west of Tampa Bay as a Category 1 hurricane about 185 miles off Clearwater Beach.

The storm could make landfall Wednesday morning along the Florida panhandle, possibly as a Category 2 storm.

Isaac's path remains very uncertain and the Tampa Bay region is by no means in the all-clear. The public is advised to closely monitor the storm's movements in the days to come.

Elsewhere, Tropical Storm Joyce has been downgraded to a depression and poses no threat to Florida.

And a tropical wave off the African coast has a medium chance - 30 percent - of becoming a storm over the next few days.
