TPD searching for driver who crashed into Tampa home

TAMPA - TPD officers are trying to locate the driver involved in an overnight crash that occurred around 3 a.m. at 3702 East McBerry in Tampa.

A spokesperson for TPD says, the car ran off the roadway into a parked car in the driveway and continued on into a living area of the house.

When crews arrived on scene, the driver was nowhere to be found.

Four people were in the home but none were hit by the vehicle or debris from the crash. A male inside the home was checked out for back pain.

TPD investigators are trying to locate the owner of the vehicle, but until they speak with the owner, they cannot determine if the car is stolen.
