Tone your abs by working out at the beach

TAMPA - Our fitness expert Paula Jager of Cross Fit Jaguar in Tampa says a ripped or toned midsection is the result of 3 factors: genetics, exercise and nutrition. While you can't choose your parents you have total control over the other two. The "crunch" often comes to mind when people think of ab exercises. More effective abdominal exercise include sprints and any multi-joint movement that includes all aspects of the core. Top those off with some weighted sit ups for aesthetics, a plank and rotational exercises to target the obliques.

You can work your core and crunch on day long long but if your nutrition is not on track you will never see your abs. To rid yourself of abdominal viscera stick to meat, fish, fowl, vegetables, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. And a six pack can yours whether you are 25 or 50.
