TAMPA - BREAKING DEVELOPMENTS:
The state rested its case late Wednesday morning.

Big developments are expected today as one of the murder trials against Dontae Morris continues.
This is the first of many trials for Morris, who is accused of killing five people, including Tampa officers David Curtis and Jeffrey Kocab.
Jurors will here more from prosecutors regarding text messages between Morris and his former girlfriend, Cortnee Brantley.
Morris had reportedly told Brantley to cover for him with some sort of alibi.
Wednesday’s proceedings will follow yesterday’s testimony from 24-year-old Ashley Price.
Price, a convicted felon with a record, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, was a key witness who testified that Morris confessed to murdering Rodney Jones.
Price said her and Morris frequently spoke, and it one of the conversations, Morris admitted to fatally shooting Jones because Jones robbed him.
While her testimony was compelling, the defense called her testimony into questioning; brining up the fact that she got a plea deal.
The case is expected to wrap up today, and no additional witnesses are expected to be called.
