TAMPA - A Tampa woman was arrested again Wednesday after authorities found more than 30 animals in her possession.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, birds, cats and dogs were found inside Cynthia Cuervo's home.
Deputies responded to the home based on a complaint that children were possibly being neglected. Authorities found the hose in "deplorable" condition, including a "strong odor of urine."
A cage inside the home housed seven live birds and one dead.
Twenty-two dogs were found in the back yard with no food or water, and also in deplorable condition.
The two female children, ages 13 and 11, were removed from the home and placed with the State.
According to Sheriff's spokesman Larry McKinnon, Cuervo had been arrested in 2007 and 2008 on numerous animal cruelty charges.
Cuervo has been charged with five counts of Felony Cruelty to Animals.
