Tampa companies hiring

TAMPA, Fla. - If you are looking for a job, you're in luck. A long list of companies are looking to hire. A free job fair is being held today through 2pm at the Wyndham Tampa Westshore Hotel. This event is sponsored by Progressive Insurance and The Tampa Bay Business Journal.

With unemployment at 10.5% in the Tampa Bay Area, many employers are using job fairs to not only fill empty positions, but to upgrade their staff as well. Over 1000 job seekers are expected to attend this 40-booth event, based on early registration numbers.

Job seekers can speak one-on-one with company recruiters who have immediate hiring needs. Opportunities range from entry-level to management and are in a wide variety of industries, including sales and marketing, hospitality, healthcare, retail, engineering, accounting, technology, insurance, administration, and more. Also, FrankCrum Staffing will be there to offer free resume reviews for all job seekers.
