TAMPA - Tampa police say two men have been arrested in a decades old sexual battery investigation involving a young girl..
According to reports, Thomas Edward Taylor - now 66 - met a 6-year-old girl in 1986.
Investigators say Taylor began to molest her on a regular basis, eventually leading to sexual battery.
In 1988, Taylor allegedly encouraged a relationship with Mark Waine Lewis - now 60.
According to police, both Taylor and Lewis sexually battered the girl through 1992, when the victim reached age 12.
Both men have reportedly made complete confessions regarding their respective roles in these offenses, and have been charged with Capital Felony Sexual Battery on a Child Under 11.
