Tampa Boat Show honors 9/11 anniversary with free admission to police, fire fighters and military

TAMPA - If you enjoy boats and you're active duty military, law enforcement or a fire fighter, 2011 Tampa Boat Show is offering free admission on Sunday, September 11th to those who present a valid active ID upon admission. It's their way of thanking the Tampa Community for their service.

In addition to hundreds of boats and marine products for sale on land and in-water, the Bay Area's largest boat show offers fun and educational attractions for boaters of all ages and experience levels.

There is also a special appearance by the Harris brothers from the hit show Deadliest Catch; on-the-water educational courses and free boat rides at the new Discover Boating Resource Center; live music at the Party Barge and much more.

The 46th annual Tampa Boat Show is Friday through Sunday, September 9 to 11 at the Tampa Convention Center located at 333 South Franklin Street in Tampa.

Show hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m on Friday and Saturday and from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. General Admission tickets cost $10 for adults (16 and older) and free for kids 15 and under.
