Suspects in high speed chase ditched vehicle, fled on foot, deputies say

TAMPA - A Tampa high speed car chase turned into a foot chase after burglary suspects bailed from their getaway vehicle Wednesday morning.

Deputies received a call on a burglary near Hanna Avenue and 65th Street in Tampa.

When the spotted the vehicle that matched the description of the vehicle involved, the driver fled and  a chase began.

The driver and passenger eventually ditched the vehicle in Robles Park apartment complex and fled on foot.

Hillsborough County deputies with the help of the Tampa police department were able to locate at least one of the suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
