POLK COUNTY, Fla. - Officers used a stun gun to subdue a suspect after a pursuit that began in Tampa and ended in Polk County, according to police.
The chase began around 4:30 a.m. in the vicinity of Nebraska and Martin Luther King Boulevard in Tampa. Officers pursued the vehicle into Polk County where it was stopped near Sleepy Hill Road and Kathleen Road.
Stop sticks were deployed during the chase, but it was not immediately clear how the vehicle was stopped or what prompted the pursuit.
No injuries were reported.
