TAMPA - An alleged flasher is behind bars after exposing himself to a little girl in a Tampa bookstore Saturday afternoon, police said.
According to authorities, 41-year-old Timmothy I. Hall of Jacksonville went to the Barnes and Noble Bookstore located at 213 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, and headed to the children’s section.
The suspect reportedly flashed a 7-year-old girl, and then fled the building.
Witness Bryan C. Alder followed Hall as he relocated to Borders, another bookstore.
Alder, 26, reported what he’d witnessed to the police.
Officer Irene Thomas responded to the call and found Hall in the children’s section of Borders.
Police said that Hall refused to cooperate, placing a table between himself and Officer Thomas.
The officer used a taser on Hall to get him under control, then took him in to custody.
A sex crime detective is investigating further into the case.
