Storm damage reported in Cedar Key during tornado watch

CEDAR KEY - Reports of downed trees and failing power have begun to filter in following a Tornado Storm warning which  includes Hillsborough, Pinellas and several other counties in or near the bay area Tuesday morning.

Numerous downed trees have cause minor damage in the Cedar Key area, including power outages.

Crews are working on a downed powerline on D Street, while the roads between 2nd and 4th are closed to get tree limbs up. 

Several tree lambs landed on the Cedar Key High School campus.

No injuries have been reported yet.

The tornado watch is in effect until 3:00 p.m. today.
