TAMPA, Fla. - State Rep. Shawn Harrison of Tampa suffered a cut on his head in a traffic accident and spent the night in the hospital.
The Tampa Republican told the St. Petersburg Times he was on his way to a hunting property in the Florida Panhandle Thursday morning when he got into an accident with another vehicle.
Harrison says he received stitches and said he was spending the night at the hospital for observation.
Details of the accident were not available.
