TAMPA - The victim and the suspect in a knife fight at a Tampa club were hospitalized after the attacker was roughed up by club bouncers during the incident Wednesday morning.
Two men got into an altercation at Hollywood Nites on the 3000 block of N Howard Ave just after 2:00 a.m.
One of them pulled out a knife and stabbed the other. In the process, bouncers tried to break up the fight and they were nicked by the knife.
The bouncers were not seriously injured and eventually got the knife away from the suspect.
They then took the attacker outside, and roughed him up so badly, he needed medical attention.
The stabbing victim was rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital as a trauma alert. However, it appears the bictim will not die.
Tampa Police are investigating.
