Some Romney supporters get more attention than others

TAMPA - Hundreds of people took to the streets on Tuesday afternoon to support their cause, but few stood out like Merle Widmer.

Widmer, 87, is a blogger and former business owner who was out showing his support for GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney.

Widmer knew he'd be lost in the crowd if he wore a Romney/Ryan t-shirt, so he said his wife made him his hard to miss hat.

The hat had the desired effect.

"I've been interviewed a lot," he said.
