TAMPA - Tampa police are investigating a shooting just outside the Char-Pal Lounge, 3711 E. Busch Boulevard, in Tampa.

Someone fired shots just after midnight in the bar's parking lot.  Police say bullets hit two people. Both are at Tampa General Hospital. It's not clear how badly they are injured.

It appeared the club was still open in the hours after the shooting.

Meanwhile, Tampa Police continue to investigate another shooting at a club in the Ybor City area, less than 24 hours prior. The shooting at Club Manilla early Tuesday morning injured five men. Community leaders are pushing to have that club shut down.

Police have not said that the crimes are connected.
