Meet our Rescues in Action dogs for Saturday - Howie and Peaches.

Mr. Howell, better known as "Howie," is a 10-year-old Golden Retriever found wandering on an Orlando street last year.  He does have a rather unconventional appetite, and has eaten items like stones, latex gloves, and paper towels.

Since he was originally found, Howie's life has really changed around.  Most of his health issues have either been taken care of or are under control.  Howie does require Phenobarbital, an inexpensive seizure medicine, which he takes daily.  He is also on medicine to help the mobility of his rear legs, and has even undergone periodic acupuncture to put a spring in his step.

Howie does need and want a lot of attention - he's a total people puppy.

Peaches is a 3-year-old Golden Retriever who loves other dogs and children.  She loves to play and run in the yard, and is completely house trained.  Like Howie, Peaches is a real attention seeker, and will do some serious tail wagging to get it.

If you're interested in adopting either Howie or Peaches, please contact Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid-Florida .
