Report: Tampa International Airport makes 'most dangerous' list

TAMPA - A study of 35 of the nation's busiest airports by Travel and Leisure Magazine puts Tampa International Airport in the top 20 for 'most dangerous.'
Tampa came in at #16 on the list. Chicago O'Hare is listed as the most dangerous. New York JFK came in at number 20.
T&L arrived at its results using the Federal Aviation Administration's Runway Safety Report and "and more recent runway safety statistics supplied by the FAA to determine which of the 35 busiest commercial airports in the United States have had the most near misses and other runway incidents over the past five years (2006–2010)."
In the case of TIA, roaming coyotes appear to play a prominent role.
