Police searching for suspect in CVS pharmacy robbery

TAMPA - Tampa Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a CVS pharmacy late Wednesday night.

The suspect walked into the drug store, located n the 2900 block of East Fowler Avenue around 10:00 p.m.

Officials say he wandered around the store for about an hour before he walked up to the pharmacy counter, handed over a note saying it was a robbery, and demanded pain killers.

There were no injuries and while the suspect claimed to be armed, no weapon was spotted.

An image of the suspect was captured from the store’s surveillance system.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-20’s, 5’6” with sthort brown hair, a scruffy beard, medium build, and a light tan.

He also had an upside “y” scar in the center of his forehead. HE was last seen wearing a beige color sweater, black t-shirt and black shorts.
