TAMPA - The father of two teens allegedly shot by their mother is back home from the Middle East, and is with family and friends, according to a media release.
Colonel Parker Schenecker issued a statement saying he has returned from deployment and is grieving with family and friends.
In addition, the statement says:
"He is devoted first and foremost to honoring the lives and memory of his beautiful children, Calyx and Beau. Parker and his family have been touched by the overwhelming support from the community both near and abroad. Arrangements and details are still being finalized with regard to the services to be held for Calyx and Beau."
Col. Schenecker works with CENTCOM at MacDill Air Force Base, and was on temporary assignment in Qatar.
His wife, 50-year-old Julie Schenecker is charged with killing their two teenage children .
