TAMPA - A new mother is doing fine after she gave birth to her child on I-275 early Wednesday morning.

Officials say mom Candace Crossley pulled over on I-275 near Bearss Avenue before she delivered.  By the time emergency crews arrived, baby Catelyn was born.

They were both taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Both mother and child are doing fine.
