TAMPA - Metropolitan Ministries is reaching out the Tampa Bay community to help feed less fortunate families this holiday season.
The nonprofit organization is critically low on canned yams and is in need of 1,200 turkeys.
The Ministries’ centers in Tampa Brandon and Pinellas Park will continue handing out food donations to pre-registered families until 6:30 p.m.
Donations can be dropped off at the main center, located at 2010 North Florida Avenue, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. For more information visit www.metromin.org or call 813-209-1000.
