Man killed after losing control of his motorcycle in single vehicle Tampa crash

TAMPA BAY - Authorities are investigating the cause of a fatal motorcycle crash that happened in Tampa overnight Sunday.
A male motorcyclist was traveling west on Busch Boulevard, just west of Florida Avenue when he lost control of his bike just before midnight.
He crashed in the road near a sidewalk.
He was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where he later died.
No other injuries were reported.
Westbound Bush Boulevard from Florida Avenue was reopened after being closed during investigation.
