Man in confrontation shot dead in Tampa, homicide detectives investigating

TAMPA - Homicide detectives are investigating after a confrontation turned deadly for one Tampa Bay man Wednesday afternoon.
The victim was involved in a verbal fight on the 9400 block of North 13 th Street when he got shot at 5:19 p.m.
He was taken to the Tampa General Hospital, where he died afterwards from his injuries.
Authorities are interviewing possible witnesses. The investigation is ongoing.
