Judge advocates for children who come from domestic violence backgrounds

Judge Tracy Sheehan's efforts are bringing about change for the struggle of domestic violence. She not only advocates for those that suffer at the hands or the words of an aggressor.

The judge advocates for the children who witness it and become victims of the cycle of abuse themselves.

Young offenders who face the judge for their alleged crimes are often those very children.

The judge knows that, and she not only uses her position to reprimand the juveniles for their wrong doing, but she goes the extra mile to reach out to the children and their families, to break the cycle of violence.
