Florida Aquarium offers summer discount in the evenings

TAMPA - On Thursday nights between now and August 2, enjoy half-priced admission to The Florida Aquarium for Summer Savings Nights after 5 p.m.

The aquarium will be open until 8 p.m. on these special days, and there's no better place to cool off from the summer heat and get inches away from amazing marine life.

Meet the black-footed penguins in the lobby at 6 p.m. each evening.

You can also get an exclusive look at the new Florida Aquarium Mermaids - appearing on Summer Savings Nights only.

Kids can splash around at the two-acre outdoor water adventure park, Explore A Shore, and enjoy live entertainment in the warm summer nights.
