TAMPA - Floragraph portraits of fallen Tampa Police officers Dave Curtis and Jeff Kocab will be featured on a float as it makes its way through Pasadena, California in the annual Rose Parade.

Kocab and Curtis were killed in the line of duty earlier this year. Their organs and tissue were harvested for donation. Their portraits will join 58 others on the Donate Life float, which honors organ donors.

Assistant Tampa Police Chief John Bennett said, "We've had many local tributes over the past six months for Jeff Kocab and Dave Curtis. This is the first tribute that will be nationally recognizing our heroes."

The officers' widows, Kelly Curtis and Sara Kocab, put the finishing touches on the portraits at a ceremony at Tampa Police headquarters. Afterwards, Kelly Curtis said simply, "Thank you."
