HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. - Tampa Bay Times outdoor expert, Terry Tomalin, takes us on another everyday adventure in Florida to the Hillsborough River.
Just 12 miles from downtown Tampa is a place rich in history and wildlife. The Hillsborough River is a protected part of the Tampa Bay area, with rabbits, alligators, and other animals.
The river is great for a scenic canoe or kayak ride, and you can even camp out overnight.
