ORLANDO - Jury selection in the first murder trial of Dontae Morris was completed after a second day in Orlando.
He is accused of killing five people, including two Tampa police officers, in 2010.
The jury selection process is taking place in Orlando after it was determined that publicity surrounding Morris had tainted a possible panel in Hillsborough County.
The Orlando jury will be transported to Tampa for the trial. Jones is accused of murdering Rodney Jones outside the Cotton Club in west Tampa.
Morris faces the death penalty for the murders of Tampa police officers Jeffrey Kocab and David Curtis during a traffic stop. He turned himself in after one of the biggest manhunts in Tampa history.
Investigators say Morris killed another man the same month he shot Jones, one more in April before shooting officers Curtis and Kocab.
