TAMPA - The jury members who will decide the fate of Dontae Morris will come from Orlando.
Circuit Judge William Fuente signed the order today. It stated jury selection will begin in Orlando on Monday Nov. 4. Each potential member will be then be sequestered in Hillsborough County during the trial.
Morris is accused of killing Tampa Police officers Jeffrey Kocab and Dave Curtis on June 29, 2010.
The state is seeking the death penalty.
On March 14, an Orlando jury found Morris guilty of killing Rodney Jones in 2010. He was sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole.
In addition to the murder charges of Curtis and Kocab, Morris is also accused of killing Derek Anderson and Harold Wright.
Police say Morris murdered a total of five people in a matter of just a few months after his release from prison back in April of 2010.
