TAMPA - A Tampa teen faces more than three dozen fraud charges after stealing personal identification information from his mother’s work computer to get credit cards.
Deputies received information that 18-year-old Devonte Jackson had 22 fraudulently-obtained credit cards at his home at 4541 Ashburn Square Drive.
Officials found a bag filled with fraudulent credit cards in the home.
An investigation determined that between February 13 and May 13, Jackson had received the cards using personal information from the database of his mother’s employer, Ace Home Care.
Jackson was arrested and charged with 41 counts of fraudulent use of personal identification information and one count of trafficking in counterfeit credit cards.
