TAMPA - Theme park fans are getting a sneak peek at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay's new roller coaster.

It's called Cheetah Hunt. It will be part of an animal encounter section of the park called Cheetah Run.

The coaster will immediately launch riders from 0 to 60 mph. Busch Gardens posted videos online of the ride.

The website describes the roller coaster as "a new breed of speed that invites guests to celebrate the spirit of the cheetah" and said it was part of a generation "where up-close animal encounters and awe-inspiring rides come together."

Cheetah Hunt was unveiled on the same day as a new reef called Grand Reef for Discovery Cove in Orlando. The Busch Gardens roller coaster could be operational by next spring.
