TAMPA - Officials are searching for two armed robbers who broke into a Tampa Burger King during drive-thru service hours only by shattering the glass with concrete Thursday morning.
Two women were working the drive thru window at the restaurant, located at 4103 W. Hillsborough Avenue at 3:07 a.m. when two men entered the restaurant after breaking the glass door.
They approached the employees shouting, “Give us the money”. One of the suspects was waving a gun at the employees.
The suspects stole cash from the register and fled back out of the door and ran. There were no injuries.
Anyone with information is urged to call Tampa police.
