TAMPA - The "Shock Jock" civil defamation case between Todd 'MJ' Schnitt and Bubba the Love Sponge Clem is close to being over.
On Tuesday, both sides rested their case. The jury was sent home.
The judge will hear closing arguments Wednesday morning.
Earlier this week, the drama picked up with a call for a mistrial.
MJ attorney Jonathan Ellis accused the Diaco firm, which is representing Bubba, of setting up MJ attorney Phil Campbell for a DUI arrest. But, the motion for a mistrial was denied.
