ORIENT PARK, Fla. - A Tampa man has been arrested for leaving his baby son in an unlocked, running, pick-up truck at the Hard Rock Casino Hotel, Seminole Indian Reservation Police said.

Security cameras showed the baby had been left alone for more than a half-hour before he was spotted by security officers.

Police charged the boy's father, Bradley Roberts, with culpable negligence and leaving a child in a car unattended. He was booked into the Orient Road jail and released on bond.

Police don't know why Roberts went into the hotel/casino. "We know the man was not gambling," said Seminole Indian spokesman Gary Bitner. "But it is not obvious what he was doing there."

Bitner says the baby was turned over to his mother and was not hurt.
