22-year-old man shot at Tampa's Hollywood Nites Club

TAMPA - An overnight shooting at Hollywood Nites Club is under investigation by the Tampa Police Department.

Officers responded to a call at 3003 N. Howard Avenue at 2:48 a.m. Saturday.  When they arrived, witnesses told them that three males fired shots into a black Cadillac Escalade, and then fled the scene - along with the driver of that vehicle.

About three minutes later, investigators say the Escalade returned to the club where officers located a victim in the front passenger seat.

Rashaud M. Anderson, 22, was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital - where he is reportedly in serious condition.

Police say they have not yet identified the suspects or motive for the shooting.
