One dead in mobile home fire at Tropicana Mobile Home Park in Tampa

TAMPA - The Tampa Police Department says one person died in a fire at a mobile home park early Friday morning.

Officers say a neighbor call 911 and reported smoke coming from one of the trailers at the Tropicana Mobile Home Park located at 11123 North Nebraska Avenue in Tampa.

When police arrived at scene they found the trailer was fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters were quickly able to put out the flames. Unfortunately, one victim was discovered deceased inside when authorities conducted a search of the mobile home.

The victim's name has not been released.

The Arson Task Force is investigating the cause of the fire. No other injuries or property damaged was reported.
