TREASURE ISLAND, Fla. - For some, it's not a day on the beach without a cooler packed full of snacks and drinks. But now, people visiting one bay area beach will have to take their food and drink elsewhere, after officials restricted when and where they can enjoy adult beverages.
Beginning May 17, tourists and locals will no longer be allowed to drink alcohol on Sunset Beach during the weekends and on major holidays.
No alcohol will be allowed from 8am to 6pm on Saturdays, Sundays and some holidays.
