ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - An early morning crash into a water main near the Pasadena Cove Condominium Complex in St. Petersburg has left a number of people without water this morning.
The crash happened just before 3 a.m. at 1350 Pasadena Avenue.
For unknown reasons, a driver headed north on Pasadena Avenue lost control, crashed through some bushes and hit the water main for the Pasadena Cove complex.
The driver was taken to the hospital and his condition is unknown at this time.
The cracked water main is being repaired by a St. Petersburg Water Department crew at this time and it is unclear how many people at the complex will be without water.
The repairs are expected to take a few hours. Investigators are working to determine in alcohol played a factor in the crash.
