Vehicle drives into canal in St. Petersburg, vehicle sinks

A driver ran off the road and into a canal at Rosa Parks Drive and 6th Street South Sunday afternoon, and it didn't take long for the vehicle to sink.
Two people saw the accident and swam out of the vehicle to rescue the driver.
Police have not yet released the victim's name, nor any word on her condition.
