Police and members of the U. S. Marshals Service have arrested a suspect in two St. Petersburg bank robberies.
Erik Michael Durkin was arrested at Wednesday evening. Detectives say he robbed the SunTrust Bank at 3601 34th Street North on February 25 and the TD Bank 425 22nd Avenue North on the 26th.
No weapon was seen in either robbery.
Durkin, 30, was arrested around 7 p.m. at Nadiya's Cabaret at 8804 66th Street North in Pinellas Park.
