ST. PETERSBUG, Fla. - A male pedestrian died Monday morning after he was struck and pinned under a vehicle for a time, according to St. Petersburg police.
He has not been identified.
The crash occurred shortly before 7 a.m. in the 800 block of 38th Avenue North.
After he was extricated, the victim was taken to Bayfront Medical center where he was pronounced dead.
No other details were immediately available.
