UPDATE: Witnesses provide description of driver in hit and run

SEMINOLE, Fla. - The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office seeks the public's help solving a deadly hit and run accident in Seminole.

Around 1 a.m. Sunday, the victim was crossing Park Boulevard, east of 110th Lane.  Investigators say the victim was not crossing at an intersection, nor utilizing a crosswalk.

As the victim crossed the road, a dark colored sedan reportedly struck him and fled the scene traveling westbound.  While still in the roadway, the victim was then hit a second time by a silver Honda Civic.  Deputies say the driver of the Civic stayed on scene and cooperated with authorities.

The victim was treated at the scene, then brought to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Witnesses at the scene described the vehicle that fled as a small, dark colored sedan with possible front and passenger side damage.  It may also have a front passenger headlight out.

A white male, believed to be in is late 20's to early 30's was seen behind the wheel. He was described by witnesses as wearing a striped collared polo shirt and jeans with shirt dark hair.
