One dead after high-speed crash into wall near La Vista, Jungle Prada

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - UPDATE: Victim is identified as William Charles Turner, 50, of St. Petersburg. The investigation is ongoing.
Officials with St. Pete Fire Department confirmed one person was killed Tuesday afternoon after a pickup truck at a high rate of speed crashed into a wall surrounding a home.
A 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck was estimated at 100 mph on 5th Avenue North. The truck continued westbound across Park St N, striking a brick wall then a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead on scene by Fire Rescue.
