Lockout at Bay Vista Elementary lifted

St. Petersburg, FLA. - Bay Vista Elementary School was placed on a lockout after a person was shot during an attempted armed robbery near the school.
According to St. Petersburg Police, three people were approached by a man with a gun just before 1:30 p.m. at 819 62nd Avenue South.
One person was grazed by a bullet in the attempted robbery. Two other victims were not injured.
Police are still searching for the suspect, who fled the scene after the shooting.
The lockout ended just before 3 p.m.
