ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The body of a male was found floating in Tampa Bay on Thursday, just offshore from the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg.
According to St. Petersburg Police, a passer-by spotted the body around 5:15pm.
Rescue crews recovered the body of a white male. There were no signs of trauma.
The man was wearing a jogging suit and had identification on him.
Investigators believe the body is that of a 73-year-old resident from St. Petersburg.
The cause of death is still under investigation.
