SOUTH PASADENA, Fla. - A female body was found floating at South Pasadena Marina around 11 a.m. Saturday, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
Officials say the dock master called 911 to report the discovery at 7500 Sun Island Drive South.
The dock master saw the body floating in between two boats.
Pasadena Fire Rescue responded to the marina and pulled the body out of the water.
The woman was later identified as Margaret Petrikas, 69, of South Pasadena.
At this time, deputies have advised that there are no signs of trauma to her body and that the death does not appear suspicious in nature.
The Medical Examiner's Office will conduct its investigation into the cause and manner of death.
