SEMINOLE, Fla. - A Largo man was killed Friday morning while working on a home addition in Seminole. Deputies say 52-year-old Arden Berderi died when a concrete slab fell on him.
Investigators say Berderi was working on the home with two other men at 8080 Robin Road when the eight-foot slab gave way. He died at the scene.
Neither 36-year-old Genci Shkullaku, the victim's brother in law, nor 70-year-old Shahin Shkullaku, the victim's father-in-law were injured.
Deputies say the three men had purchased the home this past spring.
The Medical Examiner's Office will determine the manner and cause of death, but deputies believe the collapse was an accident.
